OK, enough talkie! Let's take a peek at her STUNNING projects!
Hi friends! I'm thrilled to be a Pigment Guest Designer this month and have two projects to share with you today. Holiday gifting is on the minds of many at this time of year, and while the products in the November release are fabulous for all of your holiday gift-giving needs, they're also extremely versatile and can be used year-round. We love stretching our supplies, don't we?
My creations feature some of the new 'For You' sentiments in two different ways: one card, and one coordinating tag. I've been head-over-heels in love with the new Pigment ink pads, so for both projects I used a color palette of Jade, Sage, Fir and Turmeric, with some additional purple accents.
Beginning with the card, I used the previously-released Tile Pattern Cover Plate to create my background, then layered some greenery from the Winter Sprig and new Modern Pointsettia stamp sets. I fell in love with the Jumbo Botanicals: Winter Bloom stamp as soon as I saw it, and because one just wasn't enough, I layered two on top of the greenery. Once I was happy with the arrangement, I adhered the whole cluster to my background panel.
For the sentiment, I decided to use the small 'For you' in the For You stamp set, which also has a few fun mini sentiments that compliment the larger ones. I stamped 'from me with love' underneath, then used some nesting circle dies to cut it out, along with a vellum layer underneath. To finish the card, I popped the sentiment forward with some foam tape and adhered a few sparkling clear sequins.
Moving onto the tag, I absolutely love the new tag dies in the Wrap It Up die set, especially because there are all sorts of shapes and sizes to play with. I chose one of the largest ones and cut it twice - once in vellum, and again from a piece of cardstock that I stamped with the new Pattern Builder: Gingham stamp set. (This is SUCH a fun stamp set for creating all sorts of backgrounds - I know I'll be using it a lot in the future!) I layered a round scalloped die cut from the same die set on top, and used the 'for you' die to create my sentiment in the middle. Then, using some of my leftover greenery and one flower, I created a little cluster and attached it to the tag with foam tape. Rarely do I create a card without foam tape, and love how it adds beautiful dimension to tags too!
Thank you so much for checking out these projects today, and I hope you enjoy playing with this new Pigment Craft Co release as much as I have!

Card making was a hobby I loved as a kid, and after a very long hiatus, something I found myself getting back into about 2 years ago. Rediscovering my love for papercrafting has been a lifesaver for me throughout quarantine, a super fulfilling creative outlet, and my favorite way to de-stress. The crafty Instagram community is so supportive and positive, and the friends I've made here are some of the most incredible people I've ever met!
